In Pictures: Boiler Room Berlin
Monday night saw us invited up to Boiler Room to celebrate the release of Roman Flügel's new album on Dial. Held in the long abandoned Stattbad swimming pool, the tiled walls also saw Tobias., Stewart Walker, Benedikt Frey & Cormac take to the decks.
Following a hearty beat into the heart of Stattbad, Wetyourself! resident Cormac was warming up for the earlybirds with his renowned blend of house and techno.
Following Cormac, Benedikt Frey stepped it up a notch with an energetic house and electro set, getting everyone in the intimate room moving.
As the room began to fill, electronic music legend Stewart Walker stepped back to a more experimental set, playing on a bizarre Japanese (if I remember correctly) single stringed instrument to a welcoming crowd.
After Walker's more listenable Set, Tobias. revived the rooms energy with a big dose of synth heavy techno.
There were a lot of impressive beards present.
Continuing the party atmosphere, hot off fo the release of his new album, German legend Roman Flügel played out a set of house infused Techno and taking the party well past its intended broadcast time and into the early hours.
