Zukunft Announce Closing Festival
Zukunft Closing Festival: The ‘Home of good music’ closes its doors for good.
After two decades of contributing to Zurich’s music scene, Zukunft will close its doors for good on March 23rd. To bid farewell, the venue will host a 33 day Closing Festival from February 19th to March 23rd, bringing together over 300 artists from around the globe.
With a lineup spanning jazz, indie, disco, house, and techno, the festival will feature local legends like Bruno Spoerri, Palma Ada, and Evelinn Trouble, alongside international artists such as Âme, Seth Troxler, and Gerd Janson.
Since its 2005 opening, Zukunft has seen the likes of Questlove, Sassy J, Peggy Gou, and Ricardo Villalobos grace its stage.
As the club makes way for new development, its legacy will be celebrated in a documentary, leaving behind memories of a venue that helped define Zurich’s nightlife.
