Brunch -In has become a staple of the dance music circuit in Barcelona and across Europe having hosted some of the biggest names in house and techno across many years at innovative parties in unique spaces.

Across the 12th, 13th and 14th of August Barcelona will become a burgeoning hub for dance and electronic music with Brunch -In Weekender inviting over fifty artists to play sets across numerous venues in what will be an expansive edition for the much loved party.

This is the first time that the event has taken place over a full weekend with parties hosted at Parc del Fòrum, Nitsa and Jardins de Joan Brossa.

The goal of the new weekend event is to create a ‘festival’ style experience in one of Europe’s most exciting cities for electronic music. The much anticipated Weekender takes place in 3 iconic venues spread across Barcelona’s beloved scenery.

We’ve spotlighted some of the key performances set to take place this weekend, from leftfield electronics through to big room techno. This is what not to miss at the inaugural edition of the festival…

  • Leon Vynehall

Arguably one of the most innovative artists to emerge from the UK in the past ten years is Leon Vynehall. Once known for his poetic, whimsical take on Deep House he has since evolved into new territories channeling elements of UK Bass, Techno and beyond. These days his sets are wild, sprawling and intertwined with influences from a wide array of genres which was perhaps best noted in his DJ Kicks mix contribution. Recent releases on Ninja Tune have only cemented his presence more. He will play on Saturday at Nitsa.

  • Âme

A duo who need little introduction. The pair have become a staple of the House scene having been prominent in the progression and development of key parties and labels such as Innervisions. There’ something special about their music – it’s simple yet touches deep in the hearts and souls of dancers. Think sunsets and quiet moments of euphoric bliss. Not to be missed, the pair will play at Parc del Fòrum on Saturday.

  • Elkka

A relative newcomer from London who has been making serious moves. Since 2019 she’s evolved as a musician with a series of releases on Technicolour, her music club driven and diverse, drawing upon the origins of the UK rave sound with a melodic twist here and there. Her set is bound to be a ravey affair with chopped and screwed samples, breaks and beyond. Catch her Saturday at Parc del Fòrum.
