DJ Masda, Harry McCanna and more play Pleasure Club’s 4th Birthday tour
London-based label and party Pleasure Club have announced a small UK tour to celebrate their fourth anniversary.
The tour kicks off on 25th February at the party’s spiritual home, The Lion & Lamb, with Pleasure Club boss Bobby. and fellow resident Mariiin playing alongside label alumni Francesca and DJ Masda.
Following this Bobby. and Mariiin make their way to The Love Inn in Bristol on 26th February, with DJ Masda joining them again for round two, and then the pair round things off in Nottingham at Bar Eleven on 4th March with Harry McCanna and Blason&Louis in tow.
In line with the events the label celebrate this milestone with the release of Pleasure Club affiliate Johnny Hunter’s debut long player, Dub Is King, which blends elements of dub-techno, spaced-out electro and UK garage.
Helmed by Fabric resident and Needs boss Bobby., Pleasure Club started life as a party at The Lion and Lamb in 2017 before graduating to include a label one year later. Since then they’ve released 12 records, including outings from Francesca, Nine-L, N-Gynn and Bobby. himself.
