Baba Ali join Ransom Note for their second party at The Social
Following a sold out first event at The Social with Pleasure Pool, Ransom Note return for round two of their residency on 10th March with London-based punk funk duo Baba Ali at the helm.
The combined force of American performer and musician Baba Doherty and British guitarist Nik Balchin, the two-piece will bring their brand of ‘electro punk disco’ to the legendary Soho haunt for an electrifying live performance.
This is your chance to catch the duo in action in an intimate space ahead of the release of their sophomore album ‘Laugh Like A Bomb’, which finds a home on Memphis Industries.
Expect infectious disco not disco grooves, punk funk energy, raw electro goodness and 80’s NYC influences. Grab some friends and dress to sweat.
The party will continue late into the night with Ransom Note residents, Rosie Ama and Matt Cowell, on DJ duties until 1am. Ransom Note’s monthly party brings together friends and special guests in the Soho basement, with a focus on live music from across the UK.
Listen to ‘Burn Me Out’ from their forthcoming album on Memphis Industries.
