Above Below Festival announce line up for 2022 edition
Above Below have announced the full line up for this summer’s edition, taking place across the two-day bank holiday from 2nd to 5th June.
The intimate three-day event, set in a secluded valley in the Chiltern Hills, has revealed the likes of Ario, Primal Code, Tasha, WDDS and ápeiron will appear on the bill, amongst tons of other names.
The group of friends behind it imagined these small-scale event last year and for the second edition they’re taking things to the next level with a line up that celebrates all corners of the UK underground music scene.
Set over two stages, and blasted through carefully crafted audio systems, the music will be a celebration of everything from deeply introspective sonics to euphoric dance music. There will also be wellbeing sessions, talks and workshops across the weekend which will be announced on Above Below in the coming months.
Speaking about the second edition, Above Below’s Dan Peplow explains: “We wish to promote artists who are at different stages of their career, displaying equal quality in their prowess behind the decks. What makes it more exciting is that we grew up just round the corner from the site and have created many memories here already. It feels very special, we can’t wait to see everyone back in the valley this summer!”
Above Below started as a way of bringing together a close group of creative friends from Buckinghamshire. Proudly independent, since last year it’s been a place to celebrate music and art and has featured underground artists from across the UK.
