Crafted by songwriter-producer Amy Spencer, the album intricately weaves improvised vocals with electronic processing to create a mesmerising exploration of the intersection between voice and technology.

An ethereal sonic journey of layers of “You Don’t Know Me” envelops listeners in waves of delicate vocal melodies… Spencer’s music evokes vulnerability and strength, blurring the lines between organic and synthetic, masculine and feminine.

“Though a proficient songwriter and a guest vocalist for artists including Bicep, TVAM, DC Gore and Motsa, like many women in music, Spencer often experienced ‘imposter syndrome’ within male-dominated environments, preferring to leave others to produce.

But as Ammonite, Spencer decided to try something new – by leaving behind songwriting rules and ideas of what production should be, she began to unlock harmony and melodies she hadn’t accessed before, creating fragments of self-reflective lyrics, drones of humming vowels and broken repetitive words to construct Blueprints – her spectacular debut sonic manifesto, with her voice at the forefront (view the full press release & bio). “
