Positive Education announces series of talks and workshops as part of 2023 festival
The multi disciplinary arts and music festival is set to take place in Saint Etienne at the end of October and has just announced a programme of talks and discussions scheduled for the event.
Positive Education is a music festival in Saint Etienne, France. This year as an extension to their already wide and sprawling programme they have invited a number of participants and collaborators to host and chair talks on a variety of subjects and touchpoints connected to the wider electronic music industry.
Taking place across three days at the Halle Éphémère, the talks will cover a broad array of angles including the intricacies of music production, nightlife culture, running a record label and more.
One particular highlight comes in the form of a discussion on queer nightlife as Jennifer Cardini joins Desire, and Simone Thiébaut along with Naja Orashvili and Giorgi Kikonishvili – from Georgia’s Bassiani and the Horoom Nights party series.
Elsewhere Olivier Lamm and Enric Palau will discuss how rave can be transformed into activism.
A panel will also be focussed on the discussion of record labels and the challenges that they face in an ever changing landscape.
More details on all the talks and workshops, as well as the rest of the festival can be found HERE.
