‘Manchester Keeps On Dancing’ Film To Premiere Next Month

Madrid filmmaker Javi Senz's feature-length documentary Manchester Keeps on Dancing starts with the arrival of Chicago house into Manchester in the 1980s and the following acid house explosion, and takes you on a remarkable journey right up until the present day.

Packed full of previously unseen archive footage – including Hacienda footage filmed by Tony Wilson himself – the film also includes interviews with the likes of Colin Curtis, Andrew Weatherall, Carl Craig, Luke Unabomber, Laurent Garnier and loads more.

The world premiere takes place on 4th November at London's Doc'n Roll Film Festival, and will feature a Q&A with Mike Pickering, Greg Wilson and Warehouse Project resident Krysko. Watch a sneak preview of the film below:
