Clyde Built Radio Station launches in Glasgow
Huntleys & Palmers are behind the launch of a new radio station based in Glasgow. The station will operate out of the famous Barras market and will launch in January next year acting as a platform for local musicians, dj's and radio presenters to showcase their ability on the airwaves and the breadth of this city's wider creative community. The station is named after a series of compilations released over a number of years by Scottish record label Huntleys & Palmers. The Clyde Built series has acted as an outlet for many producers from the wider Scottish music community.
The new station will act as a hub for the local music community within the city offering dj workshops, record store takeovers and more via creative programming and curation. There will be a number of parties and launch events in the run up to the station's on air date in January 2020.
