Berghain welcome contemporary artists for another Studio Berlin exhibition
In partnership wuth the Boros Foundation, Berghain’s Studio Berlin exhibition has reopened to present works from contemporary artists from around Berlin.
Running until 29th August, the show features national and international perspectives in the fields of photography, sculpture, painting, video, sound and installation, with a universal theme that focuses on the studio as a space for contemplation and production.
First opening last year, the exhibition ran for a few weeks before being closed to the public, during which time the space has been altered, with the adjoining Halle am Berghain no longer part of it and new spaces opened up.
Works from the original exhibition will be on view next to new works from the likes of Monira Al Qadiri & Raed Yassin, Andrea Büttner, Haris Epaminonda, Bastian Gehbauer, Hannah Hallermann and Constantin Hartenstein, to name but a few. New works will be added continuously throughout the running of the exhibition.
Studio Berlin is developed and co-financed by the Boros Foundation, and represented by Karen and Christian Boros and Juliet Kothe. The Foundation supports contemporary art in the city and operates an exhibition space in a bunker in central Berlin.
