Mucho Flow announces first artists for 2024 edition
Taking place in Guimarães in Portugal later this year, the first names announced for the festival include Alex Wilcox, Gabber Eleganza and more.
Having celebrated ten years of the much loved future-focused music festival, Mucho Flow have announced the first acts set to join them between the 31st of October and 2nd of November. Hosted across multiple venues, the festival has become renowned for its forward thinking approach to programming, dissecting the narratives between style and genre through piecing together eclectic line ups which reflect the diversity and progression of underground, experimental music of the present.
Names announced for this years edition include Detroit-based Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez’s Snow Strippers – who will showcase their independent take on EDM, following a recent collaboration with US rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
UK group Still House plants will perform their acclaimed album ‘If I Don’t Make It, I Love U’ whilst Alex Wilcox’s hybrid set will feature live vocals spotlighting her own material following releases on Nina Kraviz’s трип, Ellen Allien’s UFO Inc.
Mucho Flow will take place at Guimarães’ finest arts venues: CIAJG – Centro Internacional de Artes José de Guimarães, Teatro Jordão, CCVF – Centro Cultural Vila Flor, and Teatro São Mamede.
Over the ten years they have built an audience of music lovers seeking to diversify their taste and expand their horizons – previous guests have included the likes of Jenny Hval, OK Williams, Amnesia Scanner, Evian Christ, Loraine James, Space Afrika.
Other names announced for this years edition of the event include a post rave inspired performance from Gabber Eleganza and a performance Nordic Music Prize winner Clarissa Connelly.
More names are to be announced in the coming months.
