Lapsus announces new festival schedule and collaboration with Unsound
The Barcelona based arts, music and technology focussed festival has revealed a new approach for 2019. The festival will take place in parts split across three respective dates in March, September and December.
This will be the first time that the festival has operated in such a fashion and the overarching goal is to bring more creative, relevant electronic music to the city across the course of the year rather than as part of one annual event. It will also allow for further collaborative partnerships across the course of 2019 of which the first was announced today.
Lapsus will team up with Unsound festival for the first date of the new year, a longstanding event series originating in Kraków, Poland which has since travelled prominently. Together the pair promise to collaborate to present an intricate reflection of cutting edge electronic music and associated arts as part of a one day event set to take place on the 30th of March.
Previous guests at Lapsus and Unsound include the likes of Lanark Artefax, Deena Abdelwahed, Lee Gamble, Minor Science, Eris Drew, Kode9, Blawan, Marie Davidson and many more.
Names are yet to be announced for the date on the 30th of March but are expected imminently.
