C.A.R. set to play rare live show at The Waiting Room
After a 17 month hiatus, our Ransom Note regular C.A.R. will play a rare live set at The Waiting Room, East London this Saturday, 7th August.
This will be the last chance to see her play out live for several months as she’s heading back into the studio for the foreseeable following this night.
Chloé Raunet aka C.A.R. (KTDJ / Ransom Note) is a unique underground producer and lyricist who’s been immersed in the world of post-punk, cold wave and her own brand of off-kilter synth-pop since her days fronting the band Battant.
Her music travels between glacial electronica, post-punk and warming, introspective pop, all emanating from a self-confessed crush on too many genres. As well as producing her own music, C.A.R. also DJs and co-hosts a fortnightly show on NTS Radio called 239EF (formally Latete Atoto).
