21 Year Old Photay Blurs Freaky Electronic Pop

New Yorker Photay has no right to only be 21, but there it is. Sickening. His debut single 'Reconstruct' is quite something – a woozy mix of live horns and seasick electronica that tips it's hat to Prince, Fourtet, MGMT, and the peculiar sensation of coming up and down simultaneously. It's getting a release through Obey City's Astro Nautica on August 26th, with a full album following later in the summer – we've heard a few other tracks from this kid, and we're willing to bet that he's going to be getting a whole lot bigger, there's a musicality and a sense of strangeness at play that are all too rare to hear.
