Prince Releases Details Of New Solo Album

Prince has announced he's got two new projects waiting for release, an album from his current band 3RDEYEGIRL and a new solo record from the Purple One himself. Talking to his hometown paper, Minneapolis's Star Tribune, the ever green star declined to reveal the solo album's title, or many track names, instead playing a reporter songs down the phone, claiming to be happy he'd "finally got something that is a cohesive statement.”

The tracks were described as 'funky' and 'nasty' which sounds promising – one feature is less so however – the album will apparently feature a track made with moderatly successful Rihanna clone Rita Ora – or 'British pop sensation Rita Ora' as the Star Tribune had it.. "It’s a rare rap song on which the music was as aggressive and menacing as the rapping."
