Electronic godfathers (ok alright, there’s the small issue of a certain kling klang but…) The Orb are riding the crest of a new wave that started in 2012 and continues into 2014. Hot on the heels of two albums with Lee Scratch Perry and the box set History Of the Future – The Island Years, the duo set off on a set of dates that has seen them circle the globe. The Orbs lasting stateside influence is still in evidence amidst the EDM wonderness!

One of many live highlights was The Orb presents Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld live at Electric Brixton, which saw Messrs Paterson and Fehlmann celebrate their 25th anniversary by returning to the location of their first ever gig, to perform their seminal first two albums; The Orb’s Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld and UFOrb in their entirety.
