egypt: how to play a gig in a revolution
Noisey have announced a short documentary on the London based band Irok, showing the group as they travel to Egypt at the height of the political uprising to jam with local musicians and play a show in Cairo.
Shot and directed by film maker Ronan Pollock, the film delves into the heart of Egypt’s Electro Chaabi scene and the vibrant culture around it.
