sun Xun exhibition at the hayward
Sun Xun – the Chinese Illustrator and Animator, whose beautiful, hand drawn work touches on the political history of China – is showing his most well known animation ’21 Grams’ at The Hayward Gallery, with screenings kicking off this Thursday and running for a week.
The animation was the first ever by a Chinese national to be shown at the Venice Film Festival, and helped put Xun on the international map.
Entry is free and the 27 minute animation will run on loop during the Gallery’s opening hours.
For more info, check the Hayward site.
