LoveBox 2013 Announces Sunday Additions
Wth none other than Grammy nominated electro-glam duo Goldfrapp headlining the Sunday of this years Lovebox Festival on the 19th – 21st July a whole host of diverse and eclectic acts have been announced for Sundays outrageous antics.
Also joining Goldfrapp on the Sunday will be hip-hop powerhouse Kelis, London songstress Lianna La Havas, Hurts and New York’s MS MR.
With Crack Magazine also hosting a stage, Charli XCX will lead the charge, alongside Jon Hopkins, currently riding high on the release of his universally lauded new album Immunity. Chloe Howl will also play the stage, along with Fear of Men, Roscius, It Girl Moko, The Portillo Moment and Bristol indie heroes Idles.
In what will be her first London show in over 10 years, Lil Kim will be storming the stage. In addition, Get Physical figurehead Heidi is hosting her famous Jackathon where it’s all about dance champions like Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter and Solomun getting down and dirty with the best and brightest of the younger generation, such as Krankbrother, Bicep and Kim Ann Foxman. Meanwhile, after bringing him back for his first UK gig in 10 years last November, Red Bull Music Academy once again hosts the inimitable DJ Harvey with his Sarcastic Disco. They’re joined by odd ball London house duo Idjut Boys, Rub n Tug’s Eric Duncan, Norway’s Prins Thomas and Japan’s Force of Nature, providing as global a perspective on the genre as you’re likely to find anywhere.
