Coming soon, I’m afraid
It’s always a good idea to check the US Top 10 to see what is heading our way any time in the next few weeks. Although release dates for us and them are now much more synchronised than they used to be, they usually have a head start over us, for better or for worse.
So for example this week, they have 2 films tied at No.1 (unusual), one of which I’m dreading – The Smurfs – and the other of which I’m looking forward to – Cowboys & Aliens. Although the reviews I’ve read for C & A are disappointing. It may just be that the trailer is better then the full length film.
The third new entry into the US top ten is called Crazy, Stupid, Love (and don’t ask me about the commas), which stars Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon which is one hell of a cast It seems possible that this might be the best of the three. Anticipation is so much more fun than reality.
