Exciting news has emerged from the Krush camp Russian temptress Nina Kraviz has been added to the line-up. Known for her excellent house and techno selections everywhere from fabric to Panorama Bar, as a producer she favours long, deep house cuts with the tastiest of tasty kick-clap combos and her own sultry, sexed-up vocals. Said records have come on the likes of Underground Quality as well as Radio Salves Rekkids, so she is a fine addition to the line-up.
After two storming parties and a heaving mass of exhilarating support on the dancefloor, Krush moves on into its third monthly party. Once again transforming a familiar east London location into a bespoke party paradise, the line-up features a special live show from Matthew Jonson, as well as house don Deetron and a Phonica Special Disco showcase with Simon Rigg and The Vangelis.
This time round the Krush crew once again invite some very well known artistic figures to the party, and have a tidy installation from Vincent Desforges to make the night as boutique as possible, whilst the sounds will be coming at you through a powerful and perfect Funktion One… Special, left of centre clubbing in the capital doesnt come much better.
Headlining is Canadian producer, live act and DJ, Mathew Jonson. Whether solo, as part of live jazz-techno improv group Cobblestone Jazz, or when running his label, Wagon Repair, Jonson is someone at the vanguard of electronic music. His fluid, analogue techno releases have come on Kompakt, Minus and Itiswhatitis, whilst his live show regularly takes him across the globe.
Joining him will be a genuine talent with exceptional achievements in both the DJing and producing fronts (for labels like Primate, Intec, Phont), namely Deetron: hes worked on remixes and in the studio with Steve Bug, Ripperton, Seth Troxler and many more, and could easily rest on his laurels and enjoy the fruit of his work given his achievements, but nonetheless continues to forge ahead.
Also playing will be London based, Nikos (Krush resident) a man who has played alongside many of the industrys high rollers in his time such as Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Bug, Joris Voorn and Tiefschwarz just to name a few.
Born in Argentina and now living in London, Guille has from an early age been fascinated by funk, jazz, hip hop Music is his life and playing is about bringing the best grooves to the dance floor, expressing love and creating a vibe of pure joy. His DJing career officially started in1996, in his hometown Rosario. In 2005 he moved to London and since then has been involved in the East London underground scene, playing at venues as Plastic People, The Egg, Cargo, Public Life and a ton more.
Meanwhile With an exceptional understanding of disco music (both nu- and old-school) and as the men at the helm of one of Londons finest record stores, Simon Rigg and The Vangelis will showcase their take on a perfect disco night out, digging deep in their record libraries and preparing what you just dont see every day.
