Premiere: Kiara Scuro – Witching Hour
A spooky rolling, club tool taken from the London-based duo’s debut EP.
The clock struck 3:00.
Its haunting chime echoed off the walls, ringing out down the corridor before a deafly silence gripped the air once again.
There was something chilling about this time of night; a sense that it wasn’t yours for the taking, a sense that you were unwelcome, uninvited… witching hour was upon us.
Our friends Kiara Scuro, the London-based duo made up of Rosie Ama and Nadia Harris, have built up a repertoire of spooky tracks over the last few years for the likes of fabric Originals, Ritmo Fatale and Accidental Meetings.
After hunkering down in the studio last year, they’re now joining the Faux Poly family for their debut EP, Night Crush. Layering their own vocals with samples, the pair deliver three percussive, rolling club tools that draw inspiration from late, hazy nights spent together in the club; the place where their friendship blossomed.
Witching Hour is out now on Faux Poly. Night Crush will be out in full on 6th February.
