The Cause announce lineup for New Years Eve
For New Years Eve, The Cause have invited a selection of crews who have been involved within London’s nightlife over the last 25 years. The event sees hosts takeover 7 rooms with artists including the likes of 2manydjs, Perel, Emerald, C.A.R. and a whole load more.
For the celebrations, we are delighted to announce that Ransom Note will be taking over Brut with Jonny Rock, C.A.R. and Matt Cowell.
As put by the Cause:
“For our next huge show, this New Year’s Eve, we’ve been working hard to pull together a crew of crews that have been instrumental in providing the ink that has written the story of London’s nightlife over the last quarter century.
The full breadth of rave from past to present day, many scenes covered, a lot of bases touched, these lot have been there through it all. From electro and techno to grime and bass, from nu-disco to nu-rave, house, hip hop and more, there is a lot that makes up the anatomy of London’s party scene.
A who’s who of our city; From Butterz, the seminal underground grime label from Elijah & Skilliam; Dollop who bought the likes of Jamie XX through the ranks; Faith the cult print zine and house music torchbearers; Record label, party and online mouthpiece Ransom Note who’s family is far reaching; fashion house-cum-art collective-cum-social & political rave movement Sports Banger; and Visions the Dalston based incubator of the new wave of UK rap.
There is still more up our sleeves to reveal with our whole lineup yet to drop, but as always you can trust us when we say it will be special.“
