Premiere: Derek V Bulcke – WAKE UP

There was a voice inside his head which he couldn’t help but try to let go. It continued to tease and tickle his sensibilities. If only he were able to just wake up and end the dream.

The sun was shining outside as he gazed longingly from the window, he watched as the airplanes passed by overhead. Where they were headed nobody knew but he did wish that he too could fly.

The ceiling fan echoed overhead, distilling some sort of fake, fantastic plastic air which was barely swallowable. Perhaps everything outside was just a mirage, maybe this was still the dream.

Wake up…
