There was always plenty going around, that’s the way it had always been. The noise in the room was what had concealed hushed conversations and kept it underground, at least for this long.

One day they would look back at moments like this and wonder whether it was all worth it. For now nothing else mattered.

One day they might come to regret the late nights and the misdemeanours. For now they danced with sin.

This was a story of success and excess. The consequences could be faced later.
