Pollination & On Rotation throw fundraiser party for refugee aid
London party and collective, Pollination, is teaming up with Leeds-based label and event series, On Rotation, for a fundraising event at The Carpet Shop in South London, on the 21st May.
Both collectives are coming together to raise awareness and money for Refocus Media Lab, a charity who equip asylum seekers and refugees with the tools, training, and experience to develop media creation skills and secure future employment.
Pollination co-founders Yasmine and FROND will play, alongside On Rotation bosses Lisene, Chris I’Anson and Owen Spalding, with the night themed around ‘a deep, psychedelic adventure’.
Refocus Media Lab mostly operate across the Greek refugee camps as well as Berlin and Athens, and are working on expanding across Europe. Their work is crucial as they work on the front lines (currently they are on the Poland/Ukraine border) to support their students in capturing authentic stories around the refugee crisis.
Tickets are available through the RA website.
