Electric Chair announce Dj Harvey in Manchester

The much loved and acclaimed party has announced a stellar line up as part of a party set to take place at the Concourse, Depot Mayfield in Manchester on the 19th of September next month. Balearic talisman Dj Harvey will be jetting in for a rare UK appearance at the party. 

As one of the most prolific dj’s of the past twenty odd years he will bring with him a collection of leftfield house, funk, disco, soul and balearic music set to guarantee smiles and sunshine. He’ll be joined alongside Artwork, Lil’ Minx, and The Unabombers on the day. 

Luke Unabomber talks about his excitement at the prospect of hosting a party on such a scale in the wake of the pandemic. 

“Every now and then when you least expect it, the forces and the cosmos align and a moment is presented, so when the possibility of bringing Harvey home to Manchester coincided with a venue we have fallen in love with – The Concourse at Depot Mayfield – where the DJ booth is in the middle of the room and the party is formed around the space. The Concourse is a truly magical room. We decided to also bring Chair hero, ARTwork for this all day Sunday journey back inside to Electric Chair.”

Electric Chair has been pivotal in the history of Manchester nightlife, formed in 1995 it has acted as an outlet and platform for underground sounds and the defiance of genre.
