Premiere: Aleksandir – I Used To Dream (Ikonika Remix)

She watched as the sun went down in the distance behind the hills, it left a faint trail of gold across the top of the hills and woodland before vanishing into the nothingness of the great beyond. She used to dream at night but now all she did was watch the stars flicker and dance against the deep radiant density of the black night sky. Watching from her window she was amazed by their brilliance despite them being so far away, perhaps one day she might dance out there amongst them all. 

Omena are set to release a new remix package in which they have invited an array of musicians to remix the material of Aleksandir. Ikonika’s version of ‘I Used To Dream’ was the highlight for us – a bouncy, ethereal cut with deep vocals and elegant precision.
