No Bounds Festival returns for 5th edition in Sheffield with Andy Stott, Nyege Nyege & more
Set to take place towards the tail end of year, No Bounds Festival will make a triumphant return to the Sheffield cultural scene bringing with it an all star cast of musicians, artists, creatives and dj’s to showcase the breadth and diversity of electronic music and the associate culture.
The festival announced that it will return between the 15th and 17th of October later this year hosting immersive art installations, 3D visuals and performances by some of the most innovative in the sector. Names announced so far in respect of DJ sets include Anz, Aurora Halal, Batu, Ben UFO, Helena Hauff, India Jordan, Juliana Huxtable, Kode9, Rian Treanor, SHERELLE.
Live sets come in the form of 96 Back, Andy Stott, AYA, Loraine James, VTSS plus Nkisi, Gabber Modus Operandi & Nyege Nyege Showcase.
Highlights include the custom built Huddersfield Immersive Sound System which will host a 16:8 multichannel sound system featuring 3D and live VR shows as well as a special live premiere of a work called “Augmented Mythologies” from Nkisi & Gabber Modus Operandi which aims to explore alternate realities and themes of decentralising music.
The festival will also be broadening it’s programme of educational workshops and talks across the course of the event.
