Sticky Tapes team up with Om Unit for fifth charity mixtape
For the fifth release in their charity mix series, Sticky Tapes collaborate with Bristol-based DJ and producer Om Unit.
Launched last summer, Sticky Tapes invite DJs to record a tape-issued mix with all proceeds directed towards a charity of their choice. Past guests include Violet, Interplanetary Criminal, CC:Disco, Asquith and more. For the latest, Om Unit goes solo, with his contribution spanning both sides of the cassette.
Om Unit describes his mix, which came out last Friday, as “90 mins of presence. A mix of mostly modern ambient music with a couple of old favourites thrown in for good measure to wind down in these strange times. Music that has kept me sane over recent years whilst travelling, and more recently during tough times.”
The charity of choice is Caring in Bristol, who support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the city.
