Aardvark to Zebra
Those generous folk from Aardvark to Zebra don’t just do it for the money, you know? It’s all about the love. And the boozes. But this month, it’s all about the giving too, as August’s A-Z is for the benefit of Awamu, a charity devoted to helping Ugandan children born with or orphaned by HIV. Hell, one of us is even cycling all the way to Paris the weekend before for the good of the cause (see: www.myactionaid.org for more).
So giving up their (not that valuable) time and fee for your delectation this month are Plimsoll Records’ very own Hoods, resident record bag loser Ketsbaia, flyer-designer extraorindaire Remote and Sydenham cistern botherer Shit Bob.
There’s a suggested 2 entry fee on the door if you’re feeling charitable and fancy being entered into a very special prize draw. Figuratively amazing prizes to be had.
