Mark Gonzales profiled in new book on Street Skating
The infamous skateboarder is the subject of a new book by longstanding, reputable New York publisher Rizzoli.
The book tells a story through photography, art and input from a collection of friends and affiliates such as Hiroshi Fujiwara, KAWS, Ed Templeton, Tommy Guerrero, Tony Hawk, Stan Smith and Gus Van San.
As one of the most influential skateboarders of all time, Mark Gonzales has skated and collaborated with the likes of Adidas, Supreme, Thrasher, RETROSUPERFUTURE, JanSport and Etudes.
His careless, wild street style has been adored and watched with eager anticipation, iconic segments in skate videos such as “Video Days” are still regarded as prolific features.
The book will be available from September later this year with more information available on the Rizzoli website HERE.
