Franz Scala announces debut album on Bordello A Parigi and Slow Motion
Italian DJ and producer Franz Scala has announced the release of his debut album Mondo Della Notte, a joint release between his own Slow Motion imprint and Amsterdam label and record shop Bordello A Parigi.
Known for his eighties fuelled releases, indebted to the roots of Italo but crafted with modern sensibilities, Scala has released previous works for the likes of Bahnsteig 23 and Mechatronica White, as well as his Italian-centric Slow Motion and Bordello A Parigi; the labels who present his first long player, with support from Berlin imprint and venue Sameheads.
Translating as ‘World Of The Night’, the 8-track album harks back to the past whilst looking to the future in its mesmerising synth work and driving rhythms. Across the release, synthwave meets psychedelic disco and Chicago house jams sit alongside steady proto-house and new beat vocals, all aimed at the dance floor or driving on an Italian highway.
Mondo Della Notte is set for release on 15th October 2020.
