Public Possession kick of 2020 with releases from Nice Girl & Eden Burns
The German record label has enlisted music from two friends from the other side of the world in what will make up their first releases of the new year. Nice Girl and Eden Burns will both release 10" records at the tail end of January with both ready to be available from the 24th later this month. The pair are friends from New Zealand and have worked to deliver a double drop for the Munich based imprint.
Nice Girl's EP is club focussed and inspired by the hot and heavy days of ballroom, vogue and beyond with catchy vocal hooks and a fast paced driving kick. There is also a remix from label favourite and good friend Bell Towers who sprays melody playfully across the percussive canvas and reworks the material for the disco.
Eden's EP is more abstract and features four tracks which sit somewhere between balearic and experimental electronica. It's delicate and subtle and makes for intriguing listening.
