‘With lullabies to hypnotise, this somnolent spirit is sleepwalking his way to greatness’
The Guardian
Freshly nominated for 2011’s lauded Mercury Music Prize, young bright thing Ghostpoet goes from strength to strength since the release of his first full-length “Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam” on Brownswood records earlier in the year.
Recently migrated from the capital city of the West Midlands Coventry to the southerly climes of London, Ghostpoet has most definitely made his mark on 2011.
The softly spoken 24 year-old has already won over the nation’s foremost tastemakers with a series of off-kilter, loopy electronic ditties blessed with his delightfully rambling musings on modern life.
With a live show that expands and improves on what is an excellent first studio offering, this show is set to be one of the highlights of the autumn.
