Insomnia Music With Jacques Greene
Night time has a special place in the heart of some, whilst many sleep others are encouraged by the allure of darkness. It offers them a chance for self exploration and discovery as they venture beyond the realms of what might exist within their day to day lives. No two people are the same and as such each may find a different kind of solace beneath the cloak of blackness.
This month marked the release of a new album from Jacques Greene, a longstanding electronic producer who has amassed a keen following since his early releases many years ago. He has long been a staple of the LuckyMe family upon which he released his first full length LP which is titled 'Dawn Chorus'. The album tugs on the heartstrings in places and drives home a rugged sense of club focussed precision in others. It represents much of Jacques own character as anything else he's released thus far.
We invited Jacques Greene to pick some music which he feels has connected him to the nature of the night and insomnia. After hours material from a spectrum of spaces and sounds.

DJ Lostboi just released this beautiful collection of music last month.
The stuff always wraps me up like a blanket and comforts me. Great music to sit around and be introspective to.
It subverts the melodies and motifs of grandiose EDM and prog house and folds it into this warm ambient bath.
