Alessandro Cortini announces new album on Mute Records
The singular musician, composer and producer is set to release an LP with the label on the 27th of September later this year. The album will be his seventh solo full length outing and comes two years after the release of "Avanti" – an album which was widely praised by both critics and listeners alike. The Nine Inch Nails member has been busy ever since the release of "Avanti" which was followed up by a headline performance at Berlin Atonal in 2016, this took in a series of lauded live audio-visual performances structured around an intimate presentation from his family’s private film archive.
The new album is titled "Volume Massimo” and is an experimental affair spanning the breadth of ambient soundscapes, luxurious delayed motifs and gracious meditative synthesizers. The album will be followed up by live appearances at The Barbican, Berlin Atonal, Up To Date Festival and more.
