Spiritland launches new late night dancefloor series
The London based venue collective are heading into unchartered territory as they prepare to host dancefloor focussed sessions at the newly launched Southbank Centre space later this month.
The 26th of April will mark the first in a new series of dance focussed nights of music curation with the first featuring the imitable force that is Patrick Forge, a longstanding British dj who plays funk, soul, jazz and disco having spent much of the late 1980s and early 1990s DJing alongside Gilles Peterson at the famous Dingwalls club in Camden, North London.
Spiritland only recently opened its doors at the famous London Southbank Centre but has been met with praise thus far. The space features a Living Voice/ D&B sound system and is honoured with the presence of the former Plastic People turntables.
