Prime Direct Announce Reissue Bundle of Soul & Disco Rarities
The prominent distribution company have unveiled a collection of releases, some of which have begun to hit stores already. The company has long been focussed on unveiling forgotten and lost gems whilst continuing to pursue quality in music. The series of releases features an official remastered, reissue of two of Esther Phillips’ breathtaking covers from the early ‘70s Herbie Hancock’s imitable ‘Chameleon’ and ‘Watermelon Man’ also feature as part of the series on a newly launched imrpint. Major Keys is a new audiophile label focusing on fully licensed reissues of jazz classics, pressed on 12” for a fuller, louder version compared to the original album cut. Other titles to feature in the series include Keni Burke’s signature hit ‘Risin’ To The Top’, Marlena Shaw’s timeless cover of Diana Ross’ ‘Touch Me In The Morning’ and George Duke greats, ‘I Want You for Myself’ & ‘Brazilian Love Affair’.
