8 Tracks: From The Parents Collection With Mount Liberation Unlimited
As far as deviant disco duos go there are few as fierce as Mount Liberation Unlimited. The Swedish duo have moved from strength to strength pioneering a new wave of funk and soul which draws upon elements of classic disco from days gone by. They have most prominently released on the likes of Studio Barnhus and Superconscioud Records but are set to release a new three track EP on Permanent Vacation.
The new EP, titled "Body Language", is an ode to the bygone era of Swedish disco and is perhaps the most pop focused EP that the pair have released to date. Featuring live instrumentation and delicate Swedish vocals the duo have reimagined a sound from a distant age in which the dancefloor was king and the moves the focus.
They guide us through the family collection – the music which inspired "Body Language".

Once upon a time in Tasmania we were playing together with Bradley Zero. The day after the gig we were off and went and got silly at the Berghain of art, aka. MONA. Besides several long lasting life lessons learnt that day Bradley taught us the secret behind ABBAs songwriting. The trick is that every phrase has to be an hook. Like even if you just sang the catchiest MA-MA-MI-A, the next MA-MA has to be even catchier. More is always more. They’re also Swedish and one journalist called ‘Body Language’ an ABBA revival which we don’t know was an insult or not yet.
