Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra Returns With New Album ‘Black Sun’

The Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra returns in April with Black Sun! The group's second full-length album features pioneering Brazilian jazz-funk trio Azymuth, members of Rio funk band Banda Black Rio, and a full orchestra with arrangements split between Arthur Verocai and the late Jose Roberto Bertrami.

Following its debut album in 2014, the FOMDO imprint has released a string of dancefloor remixes from the likes of Theo Parrish, John Morales, Mark Pritchard, Andres and Marcellus Pittman. Some of these teased material from Black Sun, which can now be heard in its original, soul-heavy incarnation. Five of the album's tracks are also included in their instrumental versions.
