Georgia is not a country best known for its electronic music. However, Gacha Bakradze may just be perhaps one of the most interesting young talents within the genre at present. A keen guitarist and a hugely talented producer he is quickly amassing a reputation for his distinctive blend of pads, layers and textured percussion. His latest work on Apollo Records is distinctive and a statement of intent, it precedes a forthcoming album expected later this year.

Raffaele Serra, Composer and sound researcher. It’s a great example of how ambient/minimalism sounded in 80’s. His discography is rich though it’s hard to find.
O.A.S.I. - Il Gioco Dei Sogni (1986)

We need to mention O.A.S.I if it comes to electronic music from Italy, project hosted by Paolo Modugno. Check his solo works which is more tribal, African influenced..
Elicoide - Mitochondria

Again Italian minimalism from the 80’s. I was surprised by this structure when I first listened to it.

Mark Fell - Multistability 2-A

I had been working on music that was much more gridded lately and felt that I was becoming a slave to the grid…I was unable to make music for some time because of that. After I read Mark’s interview it reminded me of something I knew, but I forgot that I knew. I love gridded music and I love making it but this new way has changed the whole process of making music for me and made me to move to an unknown territory which is exciting.
