Music Hackspace Announce New Home And Programme For 2017

Music Hackspace has announced that they will be taking up residency at Somerset House Studios and given details of their programme for the rest of 2017.

The programme for 2017 kicks off this evening with a special talk from Sam Battle aka Look Mum No Computer, who'll be showcasing the latest version of his Synth Bike, and Antònia Folguera from Sónar+D who will be introducing the international conference.

Music Hackspace aims to make new technology open and available to all providing "an open playground and exhange of ideas and sounds that embraces new and old technologies". The year ahead will see software workshops, a DIY synth workshop as well as the artist talks.

Their current artists in residence are Chagall who uses mi.mu gloves in her performances, and Tim Murray-Browne an artist who works with code, sound and visuals to create interactive installations.
