Behringer Announce Clone Of Minimoog Model D Synthesiser
Uli Behringer, founder of the audio equipment company, has announced that they will be releasing a clone of the iconic MiniMoog Model D synthesiser.
As the synth is over 40-years-old it is no longer subject to copyright laws and the design for the Model D is now in the public domain.
Behringer have long aimed to make audio equipment that is affordable after Uli struggled as a musician himself upon starting his business 30 years ago. He made it his "mission in life to enable musicians to pursue their musical dreams without financial obstacles".
Behringer plan to release a line of synthesisers that retail from just $49.
