Nomad Cinema Celebrates Five Years With Series Of Pop-Up Locations Across London
Five years ago, the UK’s first community social enterprise cinema, The Lexi Cinema in NW London spread its wings and took the magic of independent cinema on the road, in the form of the Nomad Cinema. Donating 100% of it's profits to charity, and working with local communities, The Nomad has brought its pop-up movie magic to many an unseen spot on London’s landscape. New venues for this summer include landmark cultural destination Olympic Way, Wembley Park, the majestic National Maritime Museum, The Biscuit Factory, Bermondsey, the Royal Trinity Hospice and the Old Deer Park in Richmond with more venues to be announced. Films programmed so far include Vertigo, Back To The Future, Inception, Mulholland Drive, Taxi Driver and many more. The Nomad will also be introducing ‘1000 Londoners’ – a series of shorts created by Chocolate Films, portraying Londoners from all walks of life and all corners of the Capital.
The Nomad Cinema takes place all summer across London. For full schedule and tickets have a look HERE.
