Beats In Space Celebrate 20 Releases With Compilation Album

After 12 years broadcasting on WNYU, Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space Records launched five years ago and twenty releases later are now marking this milestone with it's first compilation. 'BIS 001 – 020' begins with label debutants Parisian duo Paradis’ 'Parfait Tirage' EP, and includes aquatic slow burners (Dukes of Chutney’s “The Smiling Cheshire”) to sweeping Balearic compositions (Tornado Wallace’s “Desperate Pleasures”), to outrageous expressions of club-generated sublimity (Crystal & S. Koshi’s “Break the Dawn”). More recent offerings include Palmbomen II, Secret Circuit, Tim Sweeney & Philip Lauer and House Of Spirits who has put together a remix to promote the compilation.
