Detroit’s Most Influential Musicians Feature In New Portrait Book
Marie Staggat, a Berlin based photographer is releasing an extensive collection of portraits featuring members of Detroit’s influential electronic music scene. The 170 portraits includes some of the most respected techno and house musicians and is a homage to the characters that built and shaped the sound of the Motor City. Moodymann, Juan Atkins, Robert Hood and many more all feature. With launch event parties in Berlin and Detroit in the coming months, the book will be available in all Carhartt Wip stores and is part of a charity project that supports Detroit based children.
