Lizzy Mercier Descloux Discography To Receive Reissue Treatment
Having already reissued the debut album from French no wave pioneer Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Light in the Attic Records are now set to reissue the four remaining LPs to complete Descloux's discography. 1981's, Mambo Nassau, 1984's Zulu Rock, 1986's One For The Soul & 1988's Suspense are set to drop on vinyl and CD on Feb 26th, charting the singer and artist's path from spikey post punk, through afrobeat and latin styles, flirtations with soul and jazz, before finally ending up on the full blown 80s pop of Suspense.
The reissues come complete with bonus tracks and extensive sleeve notes, with the vinyl coming in a variety of colours – check out the full series on Light in the Attic, and listen to a trailer for all four records below.
