Dark Entries Unveil Stunning Bill Converse Release

Dark Entries, eh? Have they put a foot wrong? Endlessly whipping out a tumult of glowing electronic releases from the best leftfield, underground and near-forgotten artists, their next batch builds confidently and consideredly on the stunning stable they've assembled since their inception nearly nine years ago.

This Bill Converse release follows the Patrick Cowley "Muscle Up" compilation from the end of last year, and selectively collates tracks from a cassette release on Obsolete Future from a mere couple of years ago to present them now on vinyl. The tracks are beautifully swirling, hypnotic analogue ruminations of the highest calibre – dancing gracefully among the softer, more naval-gazing efforts of 90s WARP, or imagine Elodie Lauten with a more determined rhythmic drive. Converse cut his teeth DJing in his hometown of Lansing, Michigan during the early days of the 90s midwest rave scene. Which I'm sure we're all experts on.

Out on the same day is a repress of 'Jump Over Barrels' by Philidelphia post punk collective Crash Course In Science, and next month we see some 90s synth-pop from Wolfsheim and The Frozen Autumn get an airing. We're trying to catch our breath but we're begging them not to stop.
